It is Special variety of small sized Olive plant originated from Catalonia, Spain. Although being originated in Spain Arbosana Olive gives better results in California.

Arbosana is a small sized Olive plant so it grows well in high density and normal plantation. It can be planted 200 to 350 plants per acre.
High Density:
It is less vigorous so it can be planted as close as 4.5 feet and distance between the rows can be kept as 10 to 12 feet depending on the requirement.
Precautions:
Although it is drought and heat resistant plant. But small plants require shelter in extreme winters.
Watering:
It requires more watering in the beginning to establish more roots and plant structure. Once it is properly established reduce watering as it is drought tolerant.
